HR Generalist - Escanaba Area

We collaborate with manufacturing firms in the Escanaba area that seek skilled HR Generalists. • →Administer attendance tracking, leave of absence requests, and FMLA paperwork.
• →Support safety program administration and incident reporting.
• →Help prepare HR metrics and reports for plant leadership.
• →Serve as first point of contact for employee questions about policies, benefits, and payroll.
• →Support recruiting for hourly production and skilled trades roles, including screening and scheduling interviews.
• →Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and required pre-employment checks.
• →Maintain employee records and HRIS data entry with accuracy and confidentiality.
• →Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, and documentation.

• to 4 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment law.
• Experience with HRIS systems and timekeeping software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on site across multiple shifts.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field.

• Bilingual English and Spanish.
• Experience with hourly workforce recruiting and high-volume hiring.
• Familiarity with OSHA recordkeeping and safety compliance.
• Prior experience in union or non-union production environments.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
