Metrology Technician - Grandville Area

• →Perform calibration and verification of measurement tools and equipment.
• →Troubleshoot and repair metrology equipment, identifying root causes of issues.
• →Develop and maintain calibration procedures and documentation in accordance with quality standards.
• →Conduct Gage R&R studies and measurement system analysis (MSA) to assess accuracy and precision.
• →Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve measurement-related discrepancies.
• →Provide technical support and training to personnel on proper use and care of measuring instruments.
• →Maintain a comprehensive inventory of metrology equipment and manage calibration schedules.
• →Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to metrology processes and equipment.

• Associate's degree in Metrology, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in dimensional inspection and metrology within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating and programming various metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, VMM, optical comparators, hand tools).
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application in measurement and inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Experience with calibration processes and maintaining measurement system traceability.

• Experience with programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles and applications.
• Proficiency with statistical process control (SPC) software and data analysis.
• ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification.
