Metrology Technician - Montague Area

• →Perform precision measurements using CMMs, calipers, micrometers, and other metrology equipment.
• →Calibrate and maintain measurement tools and equipment according to established procedures.
• →Analyze measurement data and create detailed reports, identifying trends and potential issues.
• →Troubleshoot measurement discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to improve accuracy.
• →Assist engineers in developing and optimizing measurement processes and fixtures.
• →Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T specifications.
• →Conduct Gage R&R studies and maintain measurement system analysis documentation.

• Associate's degree in Metrology, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing metrology role.
• Proficient in using various metrology equipment (CMM, optical comparators, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with metrology software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso).

• Experience with programming CMMs using PC-DMIS or Calypso software.
• Familiarity with GD&T principles and their application in manufacturing.
• Certification in Metrology (e.g., ASQ Certified Calibration Technician).
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools.
