Metrology Technician - Muskegon Area

• →Perform calibration and preventative maintenance on measurement equipment.
• →Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning metrology instruments.
• →Develop and implement calibration procedures in accordance with industry standards.
• →Analyze measurement data to ensure accuracy and identify trends.
• →Maintain detailed calibration records and documentation.
• →Provide technical support and training to production personnel on measurement techniques.
• →Assist in the selection and evaluation of new measurement equipment.

• Associates degree in a technical field (e.g., Metrology, Machining, Engineering Technology) or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality or metrology role.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, including GD&T.
• Demonstrated experience operating and programming CMMs, vision systems, or other automated inspection equipment.
• Strong understanding of measurement principles, calibration, and uncertainty.
• Ability to use and calibrate a wide range of manual measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gages).
