NPI Engineer - St. Johns Area

• →Drive the successful transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
• →Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to optimize product design for manufacturability and testability.
• →Develop and implement manufacturing processes, including tooling, fixtures, and assembly instructions.
• →Conduct process validation activities (e.g., IQ, OQ, PQ) to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues during pilot production and initial ramp-up phases.
• →Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in manufacturing processes and product design.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to interpret and create technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including PCBA assembly, test, and final product integration.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, SolidWorks) for design review and analysis.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving manufacturing issues during product ramp-up.

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems for managing engineering data.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, and Production teams.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python) for data analysis or automation.
