Payroll Specialist - Charlotte Area

• →Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
• →Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions.
• →Administer and reconcile employee benefits deductions.
• →Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports.
• →Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
• →Maintain compliance with federal and state payroll regulations.
• →Assist with year-end payroll processing and W-2 distribution.

• 3+ years of experience processing multi-state payroll for 500+ employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar enterprise payroll systems.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including those specific to manufacturing (e.g., shift differentials, overtime calculations).
• Proven ability to reconcile payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate payroll records.
• Experience with timekeeping systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., Kronos, UKG Ready).
