Payroll Specialist - Hart Area

We are partnering with organizations in Hart that are seeking Payroll Specialists. • →Process accurate and timely payroll for hourly and salaried employees, including wages, bonuses, and deductions.
• →Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and company policies.
• →Reconcile payroll data and general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• →Administer timekeeping systems and ensure proper recording of employee hours and leave.
• →Prepare and submit payroll reports, including tax filings, year-end statements, and internal analyses.
• →Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and payroll-related matters.

• 3+ years of experience processing multi-state payroll for 500+ employees, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, Paycom) and timekeeping systems.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including multi-state tax compliance.
• Experience with general ledger reconciliation and month-end close processes related to payroll.
• Ability to interpret and apply collective bargaining agreements or union contracts to payroll processing.
