Payroll Specialist - Montague Area

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Montague that are seeking skilled Payroll Specialists. • →Process weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
• →Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions.
• →Administer and reconcile employee benefits deductions.
• →Prepare and submit federal and state tax filings.

• →Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
• →Assist with year-end payroll activities and W-2 distribution.

• 3+ years of experience processing multi-state payroll for 500+ employees, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, UKG) and timekeeping systems.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements specific to manufacturing.
• Experience with general ledger reconciliation and journal entries related to payroll.
• Ability to interpret and apply collective bargaining agreements or union contracts to payroll processing.
