Payroll Specialist - Newaygo Area

We are partnering with organizations in Newaygo that are seeking Payroll Specialists. • →Process multi-state payroll for both hourly and salaried employees.
• →Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• →Reconcile payroll data and general ledger accounts.
• →Administer timekeeping systems and resolve discrepancies.
• →Calculate and process payroll deductions, including benefits and garnishments.
• →Prepare and submit payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• →Maintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure data integrity.
• →Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 generation.

• 3-5 years of experience processing multi-state payroll for 500+ employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, UKG Pro) and timekeeping systems.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including multi-state tax compliance.
• Experience with general ledger reconciliation for payroll accounts and strong analytical skills for discrepancy resolution.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of accuracy.
