Payroll Specialist - Paw Paw Area

• →Processes bi-weekly payroll for all manufacturing employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• →Manages timecard collection and approval processes, collaborating with supervisors for timely submission.
• →Calculates and processes payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments, adhering to federal and state regulations.
• →Reconciles payroll data and prepares related journal entries for financial reporting.
• →Responds to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and timekeeping in a professional and timely manner.
• →Ensures compliance with all internal policies and external payroll-related regulations.
• →Assists with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution.

• 3+ years of experience processing multi-state payroll for 500+ employees, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, UKG Pro) and timekeeping systems.
• Demonstrated understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax compliance and wage and hour laws.
• Experience with payroll for both hourly and salaried employees, including understanding of shift differentials, overtime, and incentive pay structures common in manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
