Payroll Specialist - Whitehall Area

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Whitehall that are seeking skilled Payroll Specialists. • →Process multi-state payroll for a large employee base, including hourly and salaried staff.
• →Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and internal policies.
• →Reconcile payroll data, general ledger accounts, and prepare related journal entries.
• →Administer timekeeping systems and ensure accurate recording of employee work hours, leaves, and overtime.
• →Manage year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing and related tax filings.
• →Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax information.
• →Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate employee data for payroll processing.

• 3+ years of experience processing multi-state payroll for 500+ employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar enterprise payroll software.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and wage and hour laws pertinent to manufacturing.
• Experience with time and attendance systems and their integration with payroll, particularly for shift-based and hourly employees.
• Strong understanding of general ledger reconciliation for payroll accounts.
