PLC Programmer - Newaygo Area

• →Develop and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing systems.
• →Troubleshoot and debug existing PLC programs and control systems.
• →Design and integrate HMI applications for improved operator interface.
• →Configure and commission industrial networks and communication protocols.
• →Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on PLC hardware and software.
• →Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize manufacturing processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens).
• Proficiency in ladder logic, structured text, and other PLC programming languages.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, HMI development, and SCADA systems.
• Experience with VFDs, servo drives, and industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).

• Experience with HMI/SCADA system design and programming.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and their application in industrial control systems.
• Experience with robotic integration and programming.
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
