• →Set up and operate various presses including punch, brake, and forming.
• →Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine production specifications.
• →Load raw materials into machines and ensure proper alignment and feeding.
• →Monitor press operations, adjust settings, and perform minor maintenance to maintain quality and efficiency.
• →Inspect finished parts for defects and conformance to specifications using measuring tools.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues, escalating complex problems to supervisors.
• →Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.

• 3-5 years of experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, forming, hydraulic).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to perform quality checks using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and performing minor maintenance on press equipment.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Experience with preventative maintenance on presses
• Forklift certification or experience
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface
