Quality Inspector - Byron Center Area

• →Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• →Utilize precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product specifications.
• →Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality data.
• →Identify and tag non-conforming materials; initiate and follow through on corrective action requests.
• →Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• →Perform first-article inspections and in-process checks according to control plans and work instructions.
• →Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements.

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schecharts, and technical documents
• Familiarity with various measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and identify non-conformances

• Additional certifications or training
