Quality Inspector - Holland Area

• →Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• →Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs to verify conformance to specifications.
• →Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality checks.
• →Identify and tag non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective action procedures.
• →Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• →Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections according to established quality plans and work instructions.
• →Participate in root cause analysis for defects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred
• 2+ years experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Demonstrated ability to use precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformities

• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification.
• Experience with various metrology tools beyond basic calipers/micrometers (e.g., CMM, optical comparators, profilometers).
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher certification.
• Ability to interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles from complex engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis software.
