Quality Inspector - Holt Area

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Holt that are seeking skilled Quality Inspectors. • →Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• →Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs to verify product specifications.
• →Document inspection results accurately, including non-conformances and corrective actions.
• →Identify and quarantine non-conforming materials, initiating appropriate disposition processes.
• →Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• →Conduct first-article inspections and in-process audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• →Maintain a clean and organized inspection area, ensuring proper calibration and care of inspection tools.

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Demonstrated ability to use various inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM)
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Experience with CMM or other automated inspection equipment.
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CQI, CQA).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting GD&T.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software.
