Quality Inspector - Iron Mountain Area

• →Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other hand tools to measure parts.
• →Record inspection results and complete inspection reports.
• →Document defects and flag nonconforming parts for review.
• →Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and engineering drawings.
• →Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
• →Support root cause analysis and corrective action for quality issues.
• →Maintain calibration records for inspection tools and equipment.
• →Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished goods against drawings and specifications.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with inspection reports.

• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector or similar certification.
• Experience with coordinate measuring machines or optical comparators.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality systems.
• Experience with GD&T.
• Knowledge of statistical process control.
