Quality Inspector - Otsego Area

We are partnering with organizations in Otsego that are seeking Quality Inspectors. • →Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• →Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs to verify product specifications.
• →Document inspection results accurately, including non-conformances, and maintain detailed inspection records.
• →Initiate and participate in the investigation of non-conforming materials or products to determine root causes.
• →Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• →Conduct in-process audits to ensure adherence to manufacturing processes and quality control plans.
• →Assist in the development and revision of inspection procedures and quality standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Strong understanding and practical application of various measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills.

• IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification
• Experience with CMM or other automated inspection equipment
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T
