Quality Inspector - Walker Area

• →Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• →Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product specifications.
• →Document inspection results accurately, including non-conformances and corrective actions.
• →Identify and quarantine non-conforming materials, initiating appropriate disposition processes.
• →Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• →Perform first article inspections (FAI) and in-process audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• →Assist in the development and revision of quality inspection procedures and work instructions.

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schecharts, and technical documents
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems and processes

• ASQ certification (e.g., CMI, CQI)
• Experience with various metrology software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso)
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
• Ability to interpret GD&T beyond basic understanding
• Experience with automated inspection equipment (e.g., CMM, vision systems)
