Quality Manager - Traverse City Area

We are partnering with organizations in Traverse City that are seeking Quality Managers. • →Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
• →Lead and manage the quality control team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• →Oversee inspection and testing processes for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure adherence to specifications.
• →Drive continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions to reduce defects and improve product quality.
• →Manage customer complaint resolution processes, ensuring timely investigation, effective corrective actions, and communication with stakeholders.
• →Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
• →Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to establish quality standards and resolve quality-related issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management standards.
• Strong understanding and application of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC).
• Proven experience in leading and developing quality teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
