Quoting Specialist - Byron Center Area

• →Prepare accurate and timely quotes for custom manufactured products.
• →Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to determine material and labor costs.
• →Collaborate with engineering, sales, and production teams to gather necessary information for quotes.

• →Maintain and update a comprehensive database of pricing, materials, and vendor information.
• →Identify cost-reduction opportunities and propose alternative solutions to optimize profitability.
• →Respond to customer inquiries regarding quotes, product availability, and lead times.

• 2+ years experience in a quoting or estimating role within manufacturing.
• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for cost calculation and margin analysis.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and quoting software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for interacting with sales and customers.

• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Certification in a relevant field (e.g., CPIM, CSCP)
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish or Mandarin
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
