Quoting Specialist - Coopersville Area

• →Prepare accurate and timely price quotations for manufactured products.
• →Analyze customer specifications and blueprints to determine material and labor costs.
• →Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to gather necessary information for quotes.
• →Utilize ERP systems and quoting software to process requests and generate proposals.
• →Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to secure orders and meet profitability targets.
• →Maintain detailed records of all quotes, revisions, and customer communications.
• →Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the quoting process.

• 2+ years of experience in a quoting or estimating role within manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex) for BOMs, routings, and pricing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly) and their cost drivers.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
