Quoting Specialist - Grand Haven Area

• →Utilize ERP systems and quoting software to manage quotes, pricing, and customer data.
• →Communicate effectively with customers regarding quotes, lead times, and product information.
• →Review and verify supplier quotes for raw materials and outsourced services.
• →Maintain a comprehensive database of pricing, product configurations, and historical quote data.

• Proven experience in a quoting or sales support role within manufacturing.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills for accurate cost estimation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for interacting with internal teams and customers.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple quotes simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

• Experience with ERP/CRM systems specific to manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce).
• Familiarity with common manufacturing processes and terminology (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly).
• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprints, BOMs).
• Certification in a relevant field (e.g., CPIM, CSCP, or a technical certification).
• Experience with configure-price-quote (CPQ) software solutions.
