Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Perform routine maintenance and calibration of robotic systems.
- →Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in industrial robots.
- →Install and configure new robotic equipment and peripheral devices.
- →Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal robot performance and minimize downtime.
- →Collaborate with engineers to optimize robot programming and improve manufacturing processes.
- →Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications accurately.
Requirements
~1 min read- Associate's degree in robotics, mechatronics, electronics, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in industrial robotics maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and PLC logic.
- Demonstrated ability to program, teach, and calibrate industrial robotic arms (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB, Yaskawa).
- Strong understanding of robotic safety standards and protocols.
- Experience with various sensor technologies, vision systems, and end-of-arm tooling.
- Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence)
- Familiarity with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) for robotic integration
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards relevant to robotics (e.g., ISO 10218, RIA TR R15.06)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Experience with collaborative robots (cobots) and human-robot interaction safety
