Robotics Technician - Grand Rapids Area

• →Perform routine maintenance and calibration of robotic systems.
• →Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells.
• →Assist in the installation and commissioning of new robotic equipment.
• →Develop and optimize robot programs for manufacturing processes.
• →Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and implement corrective actions.
• →Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and system performance.

• Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience with industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for robotic systems, PLCs, and associated automation.
• Experience with robot programming and teach pendant operations.

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for inspection and guidance.
• Familiarity with a variety of robot programming languages beyond teach pendant (e.g., Python, C++).
• PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) for integrated system control.
• Certification in a specific robotic platform (e.g., FANUC CERT, KUKA College).
• Experience with collaborative robots (cobots) and their safety implementation.
