Setup Technician - Holland Area

• →Perform mechanical and electrical setup of manufacturing equipment.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions during setup.
• →Calibrate and test machinery to ensure operational readiness and quality output.
• →Interpret and follow technical drawings, schevenko, and work instructions for equipment configuration.
• →Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize setup processes and minimize downtime.
• →Conduct preventative maintenance on setup tools and equipment.
• →Document setup procedures, changes, and maintenance activities accurately.

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
• Basic understanding of PLC systems and automation

• Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems for troubleshooting and basic programming.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles for process improvement.
• Certification in a relevant field (e.g., CompTIA A+, IPC-7711/7721, or a specific machinery certification).
• Proven ability to train junior technicians or production staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software for work order management and record keeping.
