Setup Technician - Kentwood Area

• →Prepare and stage production equipment and machinery according to manufacturing specifications.

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in manufacturing setup or machine operation
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, and precision measurement instruments
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or 5S methodology.
• Familiarity with ERP systems for tracking and documentation.
• Basic understanding of PLC operation for troubleshooting.
• Forklift certification or experience operating similar material handling equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret pneumatic or hydraulic schematics.
