Setup Technician - Montague Area

• →Prepare and stage equipment and materials according to production schedules.
• →Perform mechanical and electrical setup of manufacturing machinery.
• →Calibrate and test equipment to ensure proper functionality and accuracy.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues to minimize downtime.
• →Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• →Collaborate with production teams to optimize setup processes.
• →Document setup procedures and equipment specifications.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use various hand and power tools effectively
• Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
• Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
• Forklift certification or experience operating similar industrial equipment.
