Shipping & Receiving Clerk - Muskegon Area

• →Accurately receive, inspect, and document incoming raw materials and finished goods.
• →Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to company and carrier specifications.
• →Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• →Maintain organized inventory in the warehouse, including proper storage and rotation.
• →Process shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading and packing slips.
• →Conduct periodic inventory counts and assist with discrepancy resolution.
• →Communicate effectively with production, quality, and logistics teams regarding material flow.

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management and transaction processing
• Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment; certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records
• Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)

• Experience with inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle).
• Forklift certification (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck).
• Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles or 5S methodology.
• Experience with international shipping documentation and customs procedures.
