Shipping & Receiving Clerk - Norton Shores Area

• →Receive, inspect, and log incoming raw materials and finished goods.
• →Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and creating shipping documents.
• →Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other material handling equipment.
• →Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and data entry.
• →Coordinate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure timely material flow.
• →Organize and maintain the warehouse and receiving areas for efficiency and safety.
• →Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment safely.
• →Identify and report discrepancies or damages in shipments.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1-3 years experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in using various material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift - certification preferred).
• Experience with inventory management systems and basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management.
• Forklift certification (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck).
• Proficiency in using barcode scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
