Shipping & Receiving Clerk - Rockford Area

• →Verify and record incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
• →Prepare and package finished goods for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• →Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

• →Coordinate with production and logistics teams to optimize shipping and receiving schedules.

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite

• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for inventory management.
• Experience operating various material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks) with certification.
• Familiarity with hazardous material handling and shipping regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA).
• Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application in warehouse operations.
• Ability to perform minor repairs or maintenance on shipping equipment or tools.
