Shipping & Receiving Lead - Allendale Area

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Allendale that are seeking skilled Shipping & Receiving Leads. • →Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• →Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving personnel.
• →Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.
• →Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics to ensure timely material flow.
• →Implement and enforce safety procedures and company policies.
• →Operate and maintain material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• →Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.

• High school diploma or GED; some college or vocational training preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory management software.
• Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment; valid certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of shipping regulations (domestic and international) and safety protocols.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management and order processing.
• Forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior shipping/receiving personnel.
• Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
