Shipping & Receiving Lead - Charlotte Area

We are partnering with organizations in Charlotte that are seeking Shipping & Receiving Leads. • →Supervise and train shipping and receiving personnel.
• →Coordinate inbound material deliveries and outbound product shipments.
• →Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
• →Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• →Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• →Optimize warehouse layout and material flow for improved efficiency.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies.

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or technical certification preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proficient in using ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for inventory management and transaction processing.
• Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment; certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of shipping carriers, logistics, and supply chain processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) in a warehouse setting.
• Certification in forklift operation and other material handling equipment.
• Proficiency in using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for inventory management.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior shipping/receiving personnel.
• Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
