Shipping & Receiving Lead - Delta Township Area

We are partnering with organizations in Delta Township that are seeking Shipping & Receiving Leads. • →Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• →Lead and train shipping and receiving team members, fostering a productive work environment.
• →Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts to ensure data integrity.
• →Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics to optimize material flow and meet delivery schedules.
• →Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies within the shipping and receiving department.
• →Operate and maintain material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• →Identify and resolve discrepancies, damages, and operational issues related to inbound and outbound shipments.

• 3-5 years experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including training and supervising a team.
• Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management and transaction processing.
• Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain processes, and warehouse operations.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (certification preferred).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and inventory control.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management and transaction processing.
• Forklift certification and experience with various material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with hazardous material handling and shipping regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA).
• Proficiency in using barcode scanning technology and inventory control software.
• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience related to warehouse optimization.
