Shipping & Receiving Lead - Grandville Area

• →Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• →Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving personnel.
• →Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.
• →Coordinate logistics with carriers and internal departments for timely deliveries and receipts.
• →Implement and maintain safety protocols and best practices in the warehouse.
• →Operate and maintain material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve shipping and receiving issues and discrepancies.

• 3+ years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership experience, including training and mentoring team members.
• Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management and transaction processing.
• Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, with current certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain processes, and warehouse safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management
• Forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• HAZMAT training and experience handling hazardous materials
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting
