Shop Foreman - East Lansing Area

• →Supervise and train shop floor personnel on manufacturing processes and safety protocols.
• →Schedule and prioritize production tasks to meet delivery deadlines and optimize resource allocation.
• →Oversee the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety compliance.
• →Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure products meet specified standards and customer requirements.
• →Manage inventory of raw materials, parts, and finished goods, optimizing stock levels and minimizing waste.
• →Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• →Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all company policies and regulatory guidelines.

• 5+ years experience in a manufacturing shop environment
• 2+ years experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in manufacturing
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficiency with various hand and power tools, and relevant machinery

• LEAN or Six Sigma certification/experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems for production planning and inventory management.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior technicians.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
