Shop Foreman - Lansing Area

We are partnering with organizations in Lansing that are seeking Shop Foremans. • →Supervise and train shop personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• →Plan, schedule, and assign work orders to optimize production efficiency and meet deadlines.
• →Oversee maintenance, repair, and calibration of machinery and equipment.
• →Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• →Monitor inventory of parts and supplies, initiating requisitions as needed.
• →Conduct regular inspections of work-in-progress and finished products to ensure quality control.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues or operational problems within the shop.

• 5+ years experience in a manufacturing shop environment
• 2+ years experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including welding, machining, and fabrication
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in CAD software for reviewing designs.
• Certification in forklift operation and safety.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior technicians.
• Bilingual (e.g., Spanish/English) to communicate with a diverse workforce.
