Staff Accountant - Allendale Area

We are partnering with organizations in Allendale that are seeking Staff Accountants. • →Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts monthly.
• →Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close.
• →Assist with inventory costing and variance analysis.
• →Process accounts payable invoices and expense reports.
• →Generate financial reports and schedules for management review.
• →Support annual external audits by providing requested documentation.
• →Maintain fixed asset register and calculate depreciation.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting
• Experience with inventory accounting and cost accounting in a manufacturing setting

• Experience with a specific ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) commonly used in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles and their application in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management processes and their financial implications.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) within finance or operations.
• Ability to analyze production variances and contribute to operational efficiency discussions.
