Staff Accountant - Cadillac Area

• →Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close.
• →Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank and intercompany.
• →Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• →Analyze manufacturing variances and cost of goods sold.
• →Process accounts payable invoices and employee expense reports.
• →Support annual audits by providing documentation and analysis.
• →Maintain fixed asset ledger and depreciation schedules.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and cost accounting principles
• Experience with inventory management and analysis
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports

• Experience with an ERP system like SAP or Oracle.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• CPA candidate or actively pursuing CPA licensure.
