Staff Accountant - Charlotte Area

We are partnering with organizations in Charlotte that are seeking Staff Accountants. • →Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements and various balance sheet accounts.
• →Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
• →Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
• →Support inventory costing and analysis, including variance explanations and standard cost updates.
• →Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate entries.
• →Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation for financial reporting purposes.
• →Assist with audit preparations by providing requested documentation and explanations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles
• Experience with inventory management and reconciliation

• Experience with an ERP system like SAP or Oracle
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
• CMA or CPA certification in progress
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience with inventory costing methodologies (e.g., standard costing, FIFO)
