Staff Accountant - Fremont Area

• →Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• →Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• →Assist in the preparation of financial statements and various financial reports.
• →Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entry preparation.
• →Analyze manufacturing costs and variances, contributing to cost control initiatives.
• →Maintain fixed asset records and assist with depreciation calculations.
• →Participate in inventory counts and reconcile inventory balances.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., ERP systems)
• Experience with inventory costing and analysis
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports

• Experience with an ERP system like SAP or Oracle
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
• CPA or CMA certification
• Experience with inventory costing and analysis in a manufacturing environment
• Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and Power Pivot
