Staff Accountant - Grand Rapids Area

• →Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements and various balance sheet accounts.
• →Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• →Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including preparing supporting schedules.
• →Process accounts payable invoices and expense reports, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• →Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and depreciation calculations.
• →Support the inventory costing process and reconcile inventory balances.
• →Assist with internal and external audit requests.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of experience in a Staff Accountant role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting
• Experience with inventory accounting and cost accounting methodologies

• Additional certifications or training
