Staff Accountant - Holt Area

• →Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements and various balance sheet accounts.
• →Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
• →Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
• →Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
• →Analyze production costs and assist in variance analysis for manufacturing operations.
• →Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation for manufacturing equipment.
• →Collaborate with production and operations teams to gather financial data and insights.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of experience in general accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with inventory costing and analysis

• Additional certifications or training
