Staff Accountant - Lansing Area

We are partnering with organizations in Lansing that are seeking Staff Accountants. • →Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements and various balance sheet accounts.
• →Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close, accruals, and reclassifications.
• →Assist with cost accounting activities, including inventory valuation and variance analysis.
• →Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely vendor payments.
• →Support the annual financial audit by preparing requested documentation and schedules.
• →Generate financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles
• Experience with inventory management and reconciliation

• Additional certifications or training
