Staff Accountant - Montague Area

• →Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements and various balance sheet accounts.
• →Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring proper coding and timely payments.
• →Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close procedures.
• →Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation.
• →Assist with inventory valuation and reconciliation.
• →Support external audits by providing requested documentation and information.
• →Analyze expense variances and investigate discrepancies.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and cost accounting principles
• Experience with inventory accounting and reconciliation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Additional certifications or training
