Staff Accountant - Plainwell Area

• →Prepares and posts journal entries for month-end close.
• →Reconciles general ledger accounts, including bank and inventory.
• →Assists with the preparation of financial statements and reports.

• →Maintains fixed asset records and calculates depreciation.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with inventory costing and analysis

• Experience with an ERP system beyond basic data entry (e.g., system configuration, report generation).
• Familiarity with cost accounting principles specific to manufacturing (e.g., standard costing, variance analysis).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present financial insights.
• Experience with inventory management systems and their integration with financial records.
