Staff Accountant - Wyoming Area

• →Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• →Reconcile general ledger accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, and inventory.
• →Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including financial statement preparation.
• →Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and inventory valuation.
• →Support external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
• →Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• →Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation.
• →Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and accounting policies.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel
• Foundational understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with inventory costing and general ledger reconciliations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with an ERP system like SAP or Oracle
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
• CPA or CMA certification
• Experience with inventory costing and valuation
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
