Supplier Quality Engineer - Grand Rapids Area

• →Develop and implement supplier quality improvement plans.
• →Conduct supplier audits to assess compliance with quality standards.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years experience in quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Experience conducting supplier audits and driving corrective actions.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt
• Experience with AS9100 or IATF 16949 quality management systems
• Strong data analysis skills, including Minitab or JMP proficiency
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor suppliers in quality improvement initiatives
