Supplier Quality Engineer - Ludington Area

• →Develop and implement supplier quality management processes and procedures.
• →Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• →Drive corrective and preventive actions for supplier-related quality issues using problem-solving methodologies.
• →Collaborate with sourcing and engineering teams on new product introductions to assess supplier capabilities and manage risks.
• →Monitor and report on key supplier quality performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• →Manage supplier non-conformances and disposition of discrepant material to minimize production impact.
• →Provide technical guidance and support to suppliers to improve their quality systems and processes.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
• 3+ years experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience with supplier audits and corrective action processes (SCAR/CAPA)
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949)
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools (e.g., FMEA, PPAP, APQP)

• Additional certifications or training
