Supplier Quality Engineer - Manistee Area

• →Develop and implement supplier quality improvement plans and programs.
• →Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• →Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier-related quality issues.
• →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define supplier quality requirements and specifications.
• →Monitor and report on key supplier quality performance metrics.
• →Manage the qualification and onboarding process for new suppliers.
• →Participate in design reviews to ensure manufacturability and quality considerations are addressed.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and tools (e.g., PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
• Proven ability to conduct supplier audits, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with advanced quality planning (AQP) tools like APQP, PPAP, MSA, and SPC.
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CSQE, CQE, CQA).
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams.
• Experience with supplier development programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
